Escaped Inmate Alleem Borden Philadelphia
The search for an inmate who escaped custody earlier this week in Philadelphia is heating up with new information, and a new reward being offered by the U.S. Marshals Service. Alleem Borden ran from officers on the 1300 block of North Allison Street in West Philly around 6:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, Philadelphia police said. He was reportedly being held in connection with a stolen car. The U.S, Marshals say he escaped while being discharged from a hospital. A convict who escaped from a Pennsylvania prison early this month was recently in South Philadelphia, according to the US Marshals Service. A Ford F-150 believed to be stolen by fugitive Isaiah R. Tilghman was found abandoned on the 2600 block of South Front Street, Marshals said Friday, Dec. 15. A person of interest in the fatal Bensalem Halloween shooting was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Ohio on Thursday, Nov. 2, say authorities. A 33-year-old man died after being struck by a speeding, stolen vehicle Saturday, Jan. 14 in Philadelphia, authorities said. A Delaware County duo were in police custody after crashing a stolen SUV into a SEPTA bus Wednesday night, 6abc Action News reports. Footage from the scene shows a Lexus SUV with heavy front-end damage against the back of the bus at MacDade Boulevard. Two teens — one armed with a loaded handgun —attempted to run away when they were stopped by police in Lehigh Valley in a stolen vehicle, authorities said.
