Suspect Charged For 'Execution-Style' Murders In Fairmount Park: Philly PD Authorities have charged 52-year-old Lamar Young with the double murder in Fairmount Park on Feb. 29, Philadelphia police say.  Young is in police custody on two counts of murder, criminal conspiracy, firearms charges, and related offenses, PPD said in a release.  Forty-nine-year-old Thurston Cooper and 38-year-old Krystina Chambers, both of Philadelphia, were found shot to death near 3800 Mount Pleasant Drive, police have said.  Investigators said the possible motive is still unknown.

Allentown Teen Fires Shots Into Occupied Home, Police Say An Allentown teen was charged Thursday after police said he fired shots into an occupied home more than once over the course of two days last month. Police were initially dispatched to a home in the 1300 block of West Turner Street around 11:20 p.m. on April 11 and April 12 on a report of shots fired, Allentown police said. Officers found spent shell casings left behind at both incidents, police said. No injuries were reported.
