Kayden Barnes Philadelphia Shooting Three-year-old Kayden Barnes has died after shooting herself in the face this weekend, police in Philadelphia said. The incident happened on the 500 block of East Chelten Avenue in the city's 14th District around 1:15 p.m. Saturday, April 6, according to police.  She was transported by private vehicle to Albert Einstein Medical Center and was airlifted to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Police told Daily Voice she died from her injuries on Monday, April 8.  A weapon was recovered, and a male was taken into custody for questioning.

Teen In 'Critical Condition' Weapon Found After Philly Shooting, Police Say A 19-year-old is in the hospital following a shooting in Philadelphia on Friday, police say.  The teen was shot in the lower back along the highway in the 900 block of Locust Avenue, in Philly's Andalusia neighborhood at 6:03 p.m. on Feb. 2.  Officers arriving at the scene took him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, "where he is currently in critical condition," as stated in a police release.  A weapon was recovered, according to the PPD.
