Coroner Called To PA Train Crash A coroner has been called to a deadly crash involving a train on Monday afternoon, emergency dispatchers say. A Norfolk Southern train allegedly stuck a person dead at Market and Water streets shortly after 2 p.m. on Feb. 28, according to dispatchers. Both York and Cumberland County first responders were called to the scene before the Cumberland County coroner was requested, according to dispatchers in both counties. PA Man With History Of Abuse Convicted For Strangulation, Sexual Assault A jury in York has convicted infamous pregnant-wife-beater Troy Ames of another violent assault. This time 44-year-old Ames, 44 of Wrightsville, was convicted following a week long trial relating to a violent sexual assault that happened 2018. Ames is known for punching his pregnant wife in the stomach and head so many times she threw up during an alcohol fuel domestic assault in 2015.  For that crime he was sentenced to 11½ to 23 months in York County Prison and mental-health, drug and alcohol evaluations.
