Reading Driver Shot In Car, Police Say Reading police are investigating after a driver was hospitalized with gunshot wounds on Sunday evening, Nov. 19, authorities told Daily Voice.  It happened on the 800 block of Ritter Street, the department said.  The victim, a 50-year-old man, was shot multiple times in the lower half of his body, said police. He was taken to Reading Hospital, though his condition was not reported.  The shooting is under investigation and there is no threat to the public at this time, authorities added.

1 Hospitalized In Reading Shooting, Police Say Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting that injured one person in Reading on Tuesday. Officers responded to the 800 block of Ritter Street around 5:30 p.m. and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, Reading police chief Richard Tornielli said in a Wednesday release. The victim, later identified as 28-year-old Oliver Espiritu, was taken to Reading Hospital for treatment, police said.
