East Berlin Church Volunteer Killed In Head-On Crash Going Home A 33-year-old was struck dead in a head-on crash "on his way home from volunteering at church," Freedom Valley Church officials wrote in a Facebook post. Gettysburg Trooper Hit By Drunk VA Driver Hospitalized, PA State Police Say A 47-year-old Virginia man has been charged after injuring himself and a trooper while driving under the influence, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Feb. 27.  Jad Michael McGuinness of Lawrenceville, VA was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 when he rear-ended a marked PA State Police 2022 Dodge Charger at a red light at Route 30/York Road at its intersection with Smith Road at 8:38 p.m. on Feb. 25, Investigating trooper Michael Kishbach detailed in the release.  The name of the trooper stuck was not shared, but Kishbach noted the trooper was a man from Gettysburg. …
