Pedestrian Killed On I-676 In Philadelphia, Troopers Say An unidentified man was hit by a car and died on Interstate 676 in Philadelphia on Wednesday morning, May 15, authorities say.  State police said the man walked from the right shoulder into the left westbound lane near Exit 1.5  around 4:15 a.m. He was struck and thrown back into the right shoulder where first responders found him fatally injured, troopers said. Deadly Tractor-Trailer Crash On I-81 Closes All Lanes In Central PA For 10 Miles A deadly crash involving a tractor-trailer has closed all lanes along a stretch of Interstate 81 in central Pennsylvania, according to the Pennsylvania department of transportation. The shutdown is between Exit 100: PA 443 - PINE GROVE and Exit 90: PA 72 - LEBANON starting at 8:17 a.m. on Friday, July 15, PennDOT says. The crash is fatal and involves a van and a tractor-trailer, according to Schuykill County emergency dispatchers. Over $35,000 had been raised on a GoFundMe campaign for the family of Barry Evans, 30, who was struck around 8:55 p.m. on Sept. 2 while crossing the 1400 Block of North Cedar Crest Boulevard. The Coplay resident was pronounced dead at 9:24 p.m., the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said.
