Security Guard Stabbed 2X Trying To Break Up Bar Fight In South Jersey: Cops A 28-year-old man has been arrested for stabbing a security guard at a South Jersey bar this weekend, authorities said. Marcus Brown, of Voorhees, is believed to have stabbed a the security guard who was trying to break up a fight between him and another man at the Chicken or the Egg on Route 70 in Marlton, around 1 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, Evesham police said. Arriving officers rendered aid to the security guard, who was taken to Cooper Hospital and in stable condition. Pair Arrested In Fatal Shooting In Cumberland County: Prosecutor Two men have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Millville last month, authorities said. Maurice L. Jones, 30, of Vineland and Edwin I. Torres, 31, of Philadelphia, were charged with conspiracy to commit murder and weapons offenses, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. On Feb. 17, Millville police responded to 4 th and E Street for reports of shots fired. Police found Lamont O. Jones Jr., 34, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He was pronounced dead shortly thereafter at Cooper Hospital, the prosecutor said. …

'Lost For Words': Victim Killed In Camden Shooting Was Loved By Many A community in Camden County is mourning the loss of a 31-year-old man killed in a weekend shooting. Kadeem McBride was shot on the 2700 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue around 3:55 p.m. in Camden, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez. McBride was found by police suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and taken to Cooper Hospital where he died at 7:09 p.m., authorities said. Condolences poured in.
