Philly Boater Killed In Wildwood Crash Neighbors and loved ones are raising money to honor the memory of the Pennsylvanian who died in a boating accident in Wildwood, New Jersey during Independence Day celebrations.  Williams Haug, 34, of Ridley Township, was on a 17-foot vessel in Post Creek with four other people when an "incident" occurred on July 4, New Jersey State Police have said. Philly Boater Killed In Wildwood Crash Authorities have identified the boater who was killed in a crash in Wildwood earlier this week. William Haug, 34, of Philadelphia, was on the 17-foot vessel with four other people when the incident occurred on the Fourth of July at Post Creek, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said. Haug's body was recovered the following day. Foul play is not suspected but the incident is still under investigation. No further information was released.
