MD Dad, Business Owner ID'd After Fatal PA Motorcycle Crash: Coroner
A 48-year-old Maryland man died at the scene of a crash in Pennsylvania, authorities said on Thursday, June 13.
Andrew "Andy" Adelsberger, 48 of Boonsboro, MD, had an accidental death due to multiple blunt force injuries, according to the Adams County Coroner's Office.
Andy was wearing a helmet when he lost control of his motorcycle on PA Route 116/Fairfield Road westbound near Valley View Trail, according to Carroll Valley police. The motorcycle went on to strike a tree approximately 10 feet from the side of the highway around 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, authorities detailed.

Montco Woman Fatally Struck By Own Car, Coroner Says
A Montgomery County woman has died after she was accidentally struck by her own car in Catasauqua on Sunday night, Feb. 4, according to officials.
Santosh Gupta-Bala, 64, of Blue Bell, was taking items from the trunk when her car began to roll backward, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. She tried to get back into the car but fell underneath and was hit, authorities said.
It happened on the 900 block of Bridge Court around 6:30 p.m., said Coroner Daniel A. Buglio.

Schuylkill County Driver, 83, Dies Months After Accident
A Schuylkill County man has died from injuries sustained in a crash that happened over three months ago, authorities say.
Leroy K. Smith, 83, was the driver of a car that veered off the road and hit several parked vehicles in Hegins Township on March 6, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said in a release.
Smith, of Barry Township, died from multiple traumatic injuries on Tuesday, June 27, the coroner said. The manner of death was ruled accidental.
The Hegins Township Police Department also investigated Smith's death, the Coroner's Office noted.
Pedestrian, 77, Killed Crossing Easton Street
An Easton man is dead after being struck by a car while crossing a city street on Thursday, June 15.
Saifeddin Alrefai, 77, of the West Ward, was walking across Larry Holmes Drive when he was hit, said Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek's Office in a release.
Alrefai was rushed to the emergency room at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus where he was pronounced dead, officials said. His death has been ruled accidental by cause of multiple blunt force injuries, Lysek added.
No charges were announced in connection with the crash.
