Jeremy Mock, 49, responded to an ad placed on sex websites and agreed to meet at a motel, according to the Wyomissing Police Department.
Mock agreed to have sex in exchange for money with an undercover officer posing as a prostitute, police said.
Mock was released at the scene and charged with prostitution through the District Court.
