Man, Woman Shot 'Execution Style' In Philadelphia, Police Say (Updated)

Two people were found shot to death "execution-style" in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park on Thursday night, Feb. 29, city police confirmed to Daily Voice.

The victims, 49-year-old Thurston Cooper and 38-year-old Krystina Chambers, were found on Mount Pleasant Drive around 11 p.m., authorities said.

Both suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene, according to PPD.

The motive remains unknown and the Homicide Unit is investigating, police added.
