A suspect who ran from a Wayne police officer at the Willowbrook Mall got tripped up when he called for an Uber, authorities said. A mall security guard had flagged down Officer William Hall following shoplifting from the Pac Sun clothing store shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, Detective Capt. Dan Daly said. Uber To Pay Millions For Penalizing Riders With Disabilities, Federal Authorities Announce
Uber will forfeit nearly $1.8 million to more than 1,000 passengers with disabilities and refund double the amount of wait time fees to more than 65,000 others to resolve a federal complaint, authorities announced. A 36-year-old government attorney from the Philippines was shot in the head and killed during a trip to Philadelphia this weekend, the country's consulate general confirmed.
