Delbert Zimmerman, of Shippensburg, was driving a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja on Rice Road when he struck a utility pole at a high rate of speed at 9:08 p.m., PSP Trooper Spenser Myers detailed in the release.
The deadly crash happened in the 7100 block of Rice Road in Southampton Township.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
Zimmerman was pronounced dead at the scene by the Franklin County Coroner's Office.
