East Fishkill Dealer Nabbed Peddling Cocaine Mixed With Fentanyl, Police Say An alleged drug dealer in the region was busted after he was caught selling cocaine mixed with fentanyl in connection with a fatal car crash. Dutchess County resident Joseph M. Kundrat, age 32, of East Fishkill, was charged on Monday, Sept. 30, following an investigation by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force. According to Task Force agent Det. Sgt. Monticello Dunkin' Burglary Suspect Nabbed After Crawling In Drive-Thru Window A burglary suspect from the region was nabbed after he was caught on surveillance video crawling through a Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru window. Sullivan County resident Paul A. Ellis, age 38, of Monticello, was charged with burglary and petit larceny on Monday, Oct. 14. According to Monticello Police Lt. Mark Johnstone, an investigation into a Dunkin' burglary at 144 Jefferson St. in Monticello on Thursday, Oct. 10, found that Ellis forced his way through the drive-thru window when the business was closed. Double-Fatal House Fire: Mother, 1-Year-Old Daughter ID'd As Victims In Clinton A mother and her 1-year-old daughter were killed in a large house fire in the region that left another child and a man were seriously injured. The blaze broke out in Dutchess County in the town of Clinton at 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, troopers responded to a residential house fire with the East Clinton Fire Department on Clinton Hollow Road in the town of Clinton. Clifton Park Man Beats Victim Unconscious, Police Say A Capital Region man was nabbed for allegedly beating another person unconscious that he did not know. The incident occurred in Saratoga County around 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, in Clifton Park. According to New York State Police Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, the victim, suffering from multiple visible injuries, went to the State Police headquarters to report the crime. 53-Year-Old Spring Valley Woman Killed In 2-Car Crash In Hudson Valley A 53-year-old Hudson Valley woman was killed in a two-car crash. The incident occurred in Rockland County at 9:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 14, at the intersection of New Hempstead Road and Summit Park Road in Ramapo. According to Sgt. Shawn Bakker of the Ramapo Police, responding officers found a 2000 Ford Taurus and a 2007 Honda Accord had crashed. Bakker said that a 69-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, both residents of Spring Valley, occupied the Ford. Both were transported to Nyack Hospital by Spring Hill Ambulance. Man Stabbed To Death In Newburgh, Suspect On Run Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed and killed on a city street. The incident occurred in Orange County at 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 120 Parmenter St., in the city of Newburgh. According to Mike Neppl, chief of staff for the city, officers responding to a shot spotter notification found the man with injuries consistent with a stabbing.
