Fire At Popular Bucks County Restaurant Destroys 10 Businesses: 'Devastating' A fire at a popular Bucks County restaurant and bar damaged approximately nine other businesses in the strip mall. Flames erupted at Andalusia Bar and Grill at 971 Bristol Pike in Grandview Plaza around 4 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, Bensalem Township Fire Battalion Chief Robert Sponheimer said. Responders were met by heavy flames in the back of the building, bringing approximately 70 firefighters to the scene, Sponheimer said. Convict Charged With Murder For Apartment Shooting: Montgomery County DA A Norristown man was arrested for murder after shooting a 32-year-old man inside his apartment on East Marshall Street, according to a release by the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. Norristown police officers found Smith on the sidewalk outside of an apartment building at 360 E. Knife Falls Out Of Student's Backpack At Charter School: PA State Police A student at a Chester County school is in trouble with police after a knife fell out of their backpack, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. Troopers were called to the Avon Grove Charter School, located at 110 East State Road, West Grove, at about 11:18 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, state police said. PA Man Suffers Fatal Fall From Tree Stand: Coroner A Berks County man died while attempting to remove a tree limb under his tree stand, according to authorities. Gregory McCoy, 62, of Oley Township, was pronounced dead at 9:34 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, according to the Berks County Coroner's Office.
