Maywood Financial Advisor Who Sold $3.65M Deal To Elderly Clients Has License Revoked: AG State officials have revoked the licese of a Bergen County financial advisor and broker after it came to light that he sold a pair of elderly clients a total of $3.65 million in a move that New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin said was not in the best interest of the clients. Man Killed By Train In Garfield Major delays were reported to NJ Transit's Main-Bergen Line after a person was struck and killed by a train Tuesday morning, Oct. 1. An agency spokesperson said that the male pedestrian was struck by Bergen County Line train 1154 near the Garfield Station, near Outwater Lane, just before 7:50 a.m. The train had left Suffern, N.Y. at 7:09 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Hoboken at 8:14 a.m. There were no reported injuries to the 600 customers or crew on board. Marlboro police shared a photo of a vehicle that had overturned, at some point knocking down a telephone pole and wires on Tennant Road.
