PA Contractor Takes Nearly $180K, Leaves Home Projects Unfinished: Police
A contractor is accused of taking nearly $180,000 from homeowners for renovation projects that were never started or left unfinished, police announced on Thursday, Aug. 20.
Shawn Hagan, 46, of Philadelphia, owner of Hagan Home Concepts, was charged following a multi-jurisdictional investigation by Bensalem and Middletown township police, according to the release.
The investigation involved three homeowners who reported paying Hagan a combined $178,291 for projects estimated to cost more than $300,000, police said.

A man most recently living in Albania threatened to kill victims in New Jersey and Pennsylvania during a 15-month campaign of graphic voicemails and text messages, federal prosecutors said.
Jarvis Shabazz, 37, who has ties to New Jersey, Georgia, Malaysia, Morocco, and Albania, was charged with eight counts of interstate threats and two counts of cyberstalking, U.S. Attorney Robert Frazer announced.
