Bubble Tea Shop To Launch Berkshire Mall Location With Grand Opening Sale
A bubble tea and Taiwanese cafe based in Northampton County is coming to Berks, and will celebrate its grand opening this week, owners say. Hocaa Bubble Tea will launch its Berkshire Mall kiosk with a buy-one, get-one-half-off sale on its 10 most popular drinks, the chain said on Facebook. The deal will kick off when the new shop opens at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, and will run through Wednesday, May 10, management added. Serious Crash Investigation Underway Near Palmer Park Mall In Northampton County: Police
Police were investigating after a serious crash shut down several streets near Palmer Park Mall in Northampton County, authorities said. The crash was reported around 2:35 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, Palmer Township Police said. Motorists were asked to avoid Park Avenue and Tatamy Road at Palmer Park Mall in Easton until further notice as the investigation continues, police said. Fire crews were quick to respond to a blaze at Palmer Park Mall Sunday afternoon that was later determined to be suspicious, authorities said. Palmer Municipal Fire Department members were dispatched to the IFIX and More cell phone repair store as the initial alert was upgraded to a commercial blaze with 911 callers reporting a smoky explosion around 4:50 p.m., the company said. PA Man, 18, Threatens Mall Guard With Knife After Being Kicked Out For Violating Mask Policy
A maskless man prevented from shopping at a Northampton County mall is accused of threatening a security guard with a knife, authorities said. Averi J. Albanese, of Jackson Township, was not wearing a mask when he walked into Boscov’s at Palmer Park Mall shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday, WFMZ reports citing court records. A security officer had just approached Albanese and asked him to put a mask on when he spit on his neck and refused, the report says.
