Harleysville Driver, 36, Killed In Bucks County Crash
A 36-year-old driver from Montgomery County was killed in a crash in Bucks County, authorities said. Robert Strohm, of Harleysville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at about 6:30 p.m., according to Hilltown police. The crash occurred at the intersection of Route 113 at Diamond Street. The second driver was transported by ambulance to Grand View Hospital with unspecified injuries, police said. Police are investigating whether speed and a traffic signal violation were contributing factors to the crash, they said. The accident remains under investigation …

Man Shot, Set On Fire In SW Philadelphia: Police
A man was in critical condition after being shot and set on fire in Southwest Philadelphia, authorities said. On Wednesday, Aug. 28, at about 10:30 a.m., Philadelphia Police responded to a person screaming inside an apartment on the 5400 block of Lansdowne Avenue, in the 19th District. A 40-year-old man was shot at by a male offender, and then the female offender set the victim on fire, causing burns to his body, police said. A New Jersey man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Pennsylvania gentlemen's club that left an innocent bystander with critical injuries, authorities announced on Thursday evening, Aug. 29. DUI, Man Slams Into Pizza Hut, Quakertown Police Say
A 37-year-old man was under the influence of drugs when he drove into a Pizza Hut, Quakertown police announced on Thursday, Aug. 29. Oscar Jesse Bernie of Quakertown was charged with four misdemeanors of DUI as well as summary traffic offenses, court records show. The crash happened at the Pizza Hut located at 320 South West End Boulevard in Quakertown on July 12, according to the police and confirmed by court documents. A Philadelphia felon was sentenced to up to a dozen years in prison on drug dealing and gun possession charges, authorities said. Ishmael Colon, 35, was sentenced on Tuesday, Aug. 27, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office. He appeared before Common Pleas Judge Wallace H. Man With Drug Warrant Flees Police In Lycoming County
A 40-year-old man was arrested for fleeing police in Lycoming County, authorities said. Michael Charles Devan had been stopped on Aug. 20 by Williamsport police near West Fourth and Campbell streets. During a traffic stop, Devan learned that he had an active felony drug warrant, police said. Devan accelerated away and fled from police for over a mile through residential areas of the city, exceeding speeds of 60 mph, police said. Philly Police ID Shooting Victim
Philadelphia police have identified the woman shot to death early Monday, Aug. 26. Kelly Kane, 41, was shot shortly after midnight on the 2500 block of Kensington Avenue, Philadelphia police said. Kane had a gunshot wound to the right arm. PFD-Medic Unit transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where she succumbed to his injury at 12:34 a.m., police said. NJ Man, 39, Drowns In Delaware Water Gap
A New Jersey man's body was discovered in the Delaware River, authorities said. The 39-year-old Lakewood man was found dead in Bushkill, Pennsylvania, on Monday, Aug. 26, a National Park Service spokesperson said in a news release. His body was spotted about 20 to 30 feet from the shore at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
