Central PA Man Impersonates Official, Wiretaps While Stalking: Police
A Harrisburg man is accused of stalking, wiretapping, and impersonating a public servant in a series of alarming incidents, according to Lower Paxton police.
Valedy Ross, 30, of Harrisburg, repeatedly called, texted, and emailed the victim without a legitimate purpose, authorities said in a release. Ross also allegedly placed a recording device inside the victim’s residence, capturing private conversations between the victim and others, police announced on Monday, Dec. 2.

A Lower Paxton man faces multiple charges after being caught in a sting operation by a vigilante posing as a teenage girl, authorities announced Friday, Nov. 17.
John Robert Tasevoli, 44, is accused of attempting to meet a 14-year-old girl for sex in August 2023 following months of explicit communication with Justin Perry, better known as “Mr. 17540,” according to West Earl Township police, and an affidavit of probable cause obtained by Daily Voice on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

Three Bus Passengers Dead, Dozens Hurt In Crash On I-81 In Pennsylvania
Three charter bus passengers died in a crash with a passenger car on Interstate 81 in Dauphin County Sunday night, Aug. 6, authorities said.
A Honda CRV was stopped in the right lane of the highway on the southbound side while the bus, carrying between 40 and 50 people, was negotiating a right curve near mile marker 74 in Lower Paxton,, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Duo ID'd Following Deadly Central PA Crash
A man and woman following a deadly motorcycle crash on Wednesday, June 29, authorities say.
Kevin Keim, 64, of Lower Paxton, and Christina Swavola, 59, of Harrisburg, were seriously hurt while riding a motorcycle that crashed at the intersection of Alexandra Lane, Crums Mill and Linglestown roads in Lower Paxton Township, according to Dauphin County spokesman Brett Hambright.
The pair was taken to Hershey Medical center where both died from multiple traumatic injuries and their deaths were ruled accidental, Hambright told Daily Voice citing the county coroner's office.

Cases Of 2 Dead Dogs Found Along Lower Paxton Trail Believed To Be Related, Police Say
The body of a dead pit bull was found on a Lower Paxton walking trail nearly a year after a similar incident, authorities said.
Police on March 3 responded to a report of a dead dog on a walking trail, along the 100 block of Oak Park Road, authorities said.
There they found the body of a brown and white, female Pit Bull Terrier.
