Stealing Deed From Dead Man Lands Bucks County Men Jail Time: Usdoj
Two Bucks County men were convicted on Friday, Sept. 20 of trying to steal a deed from a dead man and other financial crimes, authorities said.
Alan Kane, 59, of Jamison, and Derrell Johnson, 42, of Bensalem, were found guilty after a trial for multiple fraud schemes, said U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero in a press statement on Monday, Sept. 23.
A federal jury convicted Kane, an attorney, on two counts of bankruptcy fraud, one count of filing a false claim in a bankruptcy proceeding, and one count of making a false statement to the FBI, Romero explained.

A 54-year-old Pennsylvania man has been sentenced after admitting to taking a 5-year-old girl for sex in Virginia and New York, the US Department of Justice announced on Wednesday, Sept. 25.
John Oathout, of Harrisburg, PA, was sentenced by Chief United States District Judge Brenda K. Sannes in Syracuse, NY on Friday, Sept. 20. He'll serve 25 years in federal prison followed by 20 years of supervised release, and he'll be a registered sex offender for the remainder of his life, according to the USDOJ release.

Bomb Threat On American Airlines Flight Diverts Plane From NJ To PA: Report
An American Airlines flight was diverted from Newark, New Jersey on its way to Dallas, Texas on Wednesday morning, Sept. 4, according to flight logs.
The flight, AA 1603, was diverted to Pittsburgh International Airport allegedly due to a bomb threat, as WPXI Channel 11 reported.
A flight attendant using the restroom supposedly spotted a "barely legible note written in pink pen on the door that said 'thereās a bomb on board,'" the outlet reported citing the FBI.
The plane left EWR at 8:06 a.m., diverting and landing at PIT at 10:15 a.m., flight logs show.

A body found in the Susquehanna River has been identified as that of a missing Susquehanna Township man ā 26 years later all thanks to one tooth, the Lancaster County Coroner's Office announced on Tuesday, July 2.
James Floyd Gibson, 39 of Susquehanna Township, Harrisburg, had been missing since Feb. 4, 1998. Around 12:16 p.m. on April 18, 1998, a fisherman unknowingly found his body in the Turkey Point area of the Susquehanna River, located in Manor Township, Lancaster County, the coroner's office detailed in the release.
