The grandson of two rabbis has died suddenly in Pennsylvania, authorities confirmed on Wednesday, Aug. 9. Sholom Dovber Markel had been with his family in a designated swimming area by the south shore of Pleasant Valley Beach when he was found unresponsive around 1:50 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, multiple authorities confirmed. The man whose body was recovered from the Delaware River in Bucks County was allegedly fleeing police, according to the Coroner's Office. Officials announced on Monday, July 3 that an adult man's remains were found on the riverbank near 6206 Radcliffe Street in Bristol Township. A 32-year-old fisherman died on Indepence Day, according to a release by the York County Coroner's office. Dustin Snook, of Dover Township was found dead in Conewago Creek near the 4200 block of Conewago Road on Tuesday evening, the York County Coroner’s office detailed in a release the following day. A 71-year-old man who was found unresponsive in his Central Pennsylvania pool over the weekend has been identified, authorities said. Richard B. Flickinger was found in the pool at his home on the 3100 block of Grandview Road in Penn Township, around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, York County Coroner Pamela Gay said. A 71-year-old man was pronounced dead after being found unresponsive in his Central Pennsylvania pool over the weekend, authorities said. Missing Boy, 9, Found Dead In PA Pond
The body of a 9-year-old boy who had gone missing was pulled from a Pennsylvania pond on Monday evening, June 19, officials said. Police arriving at the pond located at Vaux and Hickory drives in New Britain Borough saw a boy’s bicycle with a fishing pole next to it, around 5:50 p.m., the Central Bucks Regional Police Department said. A 69-year-old who went missing on Sunday, April 23, and was found dead in the Susquehanna River, is now known to have drowned, authorities announced on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. On August 18, 2022, a Lower Paxton Township dad was spotted screaming his "infant had drowned"— now the baby has died, authorities announced on March 8, 2023. Devine Davis, 29, was arrested on assault charges for the drowning in the 4900 block of Wynnewood Road after an investigation, according to the Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police. A 2-year-old who fell into a private pond in Bethel Park on Saturday, Nov. 5, has died, according to multiple media reports.
