It would have been the 19-year-old MSU sophomore's first day of work at Das' Creamery's new location, Das' Creamery MooTown Morris Marketplace, on East Hanover Avenue in Morristown. Ray, of Flanders, joined Das' staff in April 2021, and has brought light and life to the ice cream shop ever since, the shop's owners tell Daily Voice. Smoking Radiator Brings Firefighters To Hasbrouck Heights Restaurant A fire at the Heights bar and grill was knocked down this weekend. Crews were called to the restaurant at 165 Boulevard on Saturday evening, Nov. 2, for reports of smoke coming from the radiator on the second floor, the fire department said.  Chief 62 arrived on the scene and found fire in the walls on the first floor and smoke throughout the building.  Crews from Squad 1 stretched a line and were able to knock the fire before it spread.
