New Jersey Man Killed In Fatal Box Truck Crash On Route 322 In PA: Police
A 27-year-old man from New Jersey was killed in a crash on Route 322 near Hummelstown on Monday, Nov. 11, after his box truck struck the Fiddlers Elbow bridge abutment, police announced. The crash happened when the driver veered off the westbound lane, striking a roadside message board before hitting a concrete barrier, traveling up an embankment, and ultimately colliding head-on with the bridge abutment at 6:16 a.m. The impact caused the truck to roll onto its side back onto the roadway, according to the Derry Township Police Department. Tractor-Trailer Rollover Cause Closure At PA Turnpike Ramp In Lancaster
A tractor-trailer rollover crash has caused a closure at the on-ramp for the Pennsylvania Turnpike/Interstate 76, officials said. The tractor-trailer flipped at Colonel Howard Boulevard in the eastbound lanes leading to the PA Turnpike/I-76 entrance from Route 222 around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, according to East Cocalico Township police and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. "Both lanes will be closed for approximately 1-2 hours," the police wrote in a release. There is no word of any injuries. Check back here for possible updates.

A car was found sliced in half on Route 222, Adamstown firefighters announced on Monday, Oct. 7. While heading to a training in Berks County, volunteers with the Adamstown Fire Company volunteers were called to a single vehicle accident on Rt 222. The crash was in the northbound lanes between the Exit: I-76 Turnpike/ PA Route 272 - Denver/PA Turnpike and Exit: PA 272 South/PA 568 East - Adamstown/Knauers around 7:30 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA. Central PA Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash With Deer: PA State Police
A 64-year-old Germansville man was killed in a motorcycle crash with a deer in Lehigh County on Monday morning, Oct. 1, Pennsylvania State Police said. Frederick R. Brauchle III, of Heidelberg Township, was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the area of 4842 Mountain Road in Washington Township when he crashed into a deer at 5 a.m., according to the Pennsylvania State Police and the Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio. Andrew "Andy" Adelsberger, 48 of Boonsboro, MD, had an accidental death due to multiple blunt force injuries, according to the Adams County Coroner's Office. A 30-year-old mom woman is dead following a multiple-vehicle crash involving entrapment that closed all lanes of US Route 30 East in part of Lancaster County, authorities announced on Tuesday, June 4.
