A man has died in the hospital from injuries sustained in a serious car crash the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department announced on Monday, April 22. The cause of death has been released for a man found dead after a "domestic incident" turned standoff ending with a house fire, the Lancaster County Coroner explained. Mark D. Hackman, 53, of 6294 High Street in East Petersburg Borough, died by a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, and the manner was suicide, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Eric Bieber. Power should be restored by 5:30 p.m. after a SUV plowed into a utility pole in Lititz on April 4, 2023. The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department responded to a call of a vehicle accident with injuries in the 400 bock of Owl Hill Road Tuesday afternoon. The driver left the road way for an unknown reason and struck a PPL power pole. The driver was hurt, but the extent of their injuries is unknown. PPL is in the area making repairs. A 35-year-old man in central Pennsylvania has been charged with aggravated assault of a child less than six-years-old, authorities said. Joshua M.
