An associate business professor at Kutztown University has died after he and another man's bodies were found frozen on one of the tallest mountains in Turkey last weekend, according to university administrators and local news reports. Dr. M. Halim Dalgin a 58-year-old Adana, a Turkey native living in Mountain Top, Luzerne County, had been climbing a mountain near the country's southeastern border with Iran, multiple outlets report. Newark Flight Attendant From PA Dies After Spinout Crash With Tractor Trailer On Route 78
Jennifer Friedel-Hoffman, a 60-year-old Pennsylvania resident, was killed in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey on Wednesday, May 29. A tractor-trailer was parked and unoccupied on the right shoulder on Route 78 West in Lebanon when a Subaru driven by Friedel-Hoffman entered the area and struck the left rear of the truck just after 9 a.m., New Jersey State Police said. A 22-year-old waitress from Frackville has been identified as the victim of a single-vehicle crash that shutters Interstate 81 in Lebanon County for three hours on Monday, Nov. 7, authorities say. Trina Marie Stoudt was driving a 2004 Honda Civic when she traveled off I-81 north near Exit 100 by the Lebanon-Schuylkill County line, according to state police. A former college athlete pleaded guilty on Tuesday, March 1 to sexually extorting and harassing 15 victims, including one Bensalem woman who later died by suicide, authorities said.
