Missing Endangered Alert Canceled Pennsylvania Man Found In Maryland
A missing endangered person alert has been canceled for a South Central Pennsylvania man who was last seen in Maryland, police announced Wednesday night, Oct. 9. Harry Joseph Runkle was just 10 days shy of his 77th birthday when he went missing, according to the York County Regional Police. Runkle is from the 4900 block of N. Sherman Street in Mount Wolf, East Manchester Township, police explained. He had last been seen at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9. A Philadelphia woman is accused of fraudulently cashing a COVID-19 relief check and spending the money on plastic surgery. In an arrest warrant obtained by Local10.com, authorities said 30-year-old Ashley Stibbins-Parker made a bank account for a Georgia entity called "City of Weston LLC.'' New Forecast: Increased Snowfall Totals Expected, Arctic Temps To Follow Northeast Storm
Newly-released forecast maps show parts of the region could see up to six inches of snow in the end-of-week storm. Intermittent snow is expected to begin between 4 and 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, with the heaviest amounts falling in the afternoon, the National Weather Service said. Snow will fall at about 0.5 inches per hour and will taper by the evening, with temps in the upper 20s and low 30s, the NWS said. The Naval Academy has identified the Annapolis midshipman who died while on leave in Philadelphia.
