A tragic New Year’s Eve fire claimed the life of a 50-year-old woman and left another individual injured in Passaic, authorities said.
The fire broke out at approximately 10:42 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024, at an apartment building located at 361 Madison Street, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman, and Passaic Fire Chief Patrick Trentacost.
