A pedestrian was struck and killed in front of the White Horse Inn in Pennridge last week, authorities said on Tuesday, Aug. 13. On Friday, Aug. 9, Pennridge Regional police officers were dispatched to the intersection of Ridge Road and Old Bethlehem Pike. When officers arrived, they found a white Toyota Camry had struck a pedestrian as the man was crossing Ridge Road. The pedestrian was identified as Peter Gehring, of Sellersville. The 1-year-old girl who was fatally struck by a pickup truck in Philadelphia on Saturday, July 20 was identified by loved ones on GoFundMe as Madison Morales Salazar. Pedestrian Hit, Killed Standing On Philly Street Corner: Police
An unidentified man has died after he was struck by a car in Philadelphia on Wednesday night, July 17, authorities said. The man, believed to have been in his 50s, was standing on the corner of Frankford and East Allegheny avenues when he was hit by a Toyota around 7 p.m., city police said. A Lower Towamensing man died days after a car he was riding in crashed in Montour County. Jason Reed was the passenger in a vehicle that wrecked on Ashtown Road in Mahoning Township on Friday, May 24, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. He was taken to University Hospital in Bethlehem where he died from complications of multiple traumatic injuries on Tuesday morning, officials said. His manner of death was accidental. A woman fatally struck her daughter with her car in Philadelphia's Crescentville neighborhood on Wednesday evening, May 8, the police told Daily Voice. The 31-year-old woman was driving a Chevrolet Traverse when she struck the 2-year-old girl in the 200 block of Comly Street around 5:30 p.m., PPD explained. Two people were killed in separate crashes in South Brunswick including a motorist from South River and a motorcyclist from Pennsylvania, authorities said. Officials have identified the dump truck driver who died in an accident on Route 145 Tuesday morning, April 9 as Lincoln P. Brown. Brown, 52, of Selinsgrove, was southbound when his tri-axle truck crashed in Lehigh Township, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office. He died from injuries sustained in the crash and the manner of death was accidental, authorities said.
