Greencastle Man Killed In I-81 Crash: State Police A Maryland native and Greencastle local was killed in a crash on Interstate 81, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Oct. 31.  Adam Emerick, 33, of Greencastle, was found dead at the scene of a crash near mile marker 0.8 of I-81 North, near the Maryland/Pennsylvania border, around 2:33 a.m., according to PA State Police. Shot Child Hospitalized, PA State Police Say (Developing) A boy is in the hospital after being shot in Central Pennsylvania, state troopers announced on Monday, Oct. 7.  The unnamed child was taken in a private vehicle to  Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital in East Pennsboro Township on Sunday, Oct. 6, according to PSP Troopers in Carlisle.  The preliminary investigation has led PA State Police to believe the child was shot in Carroll Township, York County, although the investigation remains active. There is no threat to the public, according to PSP.  Check back here for updates.
