A 36-year-old former middle school teacher in New Jersey is facing additional charges after she was accused of having sex with one of her students, authorities announced Wednesday, June 24.

Ti'Shaun Singleton, 19, of Allentown, was pronounced dead at 5:46 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 inside a home in the 200 block of Edward Lane in Catasauqua, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. An autopsy determined he died from a gunshot wound to the chest, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
