'I Lost My First True Love:' Victims Of Deadly I-81 Crash Remembered
The lives of two Maryland men were cut short in a crash on I-81 last week in Pennsylvania, and now, their loved ones are rallying to give them proper burials. Diamonte Drequan Disney, 25, and Tiheen "Tizzy" Justice Nathaniel Matthews, 20, both of Hagerstown, MD, both died in the crash Wednesday, Aug. 21 in Antrim Township, as previously reported by Daily Voice. A York County native and mom of 15 children has died just three days after one of her children. Nancy A. A former police corporal has died, the Darby Borough Police announced on Monday, July 29. Retired Darby Borough K9 Police Officer Thomas "Tom" Takacs Sr., 53, of Upper Chichester (formerly of Norwood and Tinicum) passed Friday, July 26, 2024, at home, according to his obituary posted by the Marvil Funeral Home. Quaker Race Beach at Gifford Pinchot State Park is closed for swimming until further notice, park officials say.
