Residents Report Spotting Helicopters Amid Manhunt For Suspect In Bensalem
Police said they are looking for a man who fled a traffic stop in Bensalem on Thursday afternoon, June 6. It happened near the Wellington Estates, authorities said. Local residents reported seeing helicopters hovering over the area around 2:15 p.m. It was not immediately clear if the aircrafts were assisting with the search. Lehigh Thieves Smuggled Perfume In Baby Stroller, Cops Say
A man and a woman are charged with theft after police say they walked into a Lehigh County beauty store and tried to smuggle out goods in a decoy stroller, according to state police. The suspects went to Ulta Beauty at Hamilton Crossings in Lower Macungie just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, said Trooper Nathan Branosky in a statement. The pair, a 22-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, had brought along an empty baby stroller and filled it with perfume before walking out of the store without paying, he said. Man Safely Rescued From River In Pottstown: Sources
A man was safely rescued from a river in Pottstown Thursday, May 5, sources said. Fire crews were called to College Drive and Keystone Boulevard around 3:50 p.m. on a report of a man unable to make it back to shore, Montgomery County Public Affairs Coordinator Todd Stieritz confirmed. Initial reports say the man was about 100 feet out in the water and unable to move. It was unclear how he had ended up in the water. He was safely rescued around 4:35 p.m. and was being treated by EMS at the scene, Stieritz said.

Two masked home invaders shot a man and his dogs in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, according to the police. The masked suspects broke into the home located on 3rd Avenue in Palm City, Lebanon County on Feb. 16 around 8 a.m., the release shows. The man who owns the home had an altercation with the masked intruders, when one of them pulled a gun and shot him twice, police chief Ben Sutcliffe says. Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Train In Mercer County
A man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a shuttle train in Mercer County Tuesday night, authorities said. The man was struck by the Princeton Dinky shuttle train No. 4177 near the Princeton Station in West Windsor shortly before 10 p.m., NJ Transit spokesperson Jim Smith told DailyVoice.com. The train was traveling westbound and was scheduled to arrive at Princeton Station at 9:59 p.m., Smith said. Man On Drugs Found Lying Face Down In Berks County Park, Police Say
A man lying face down in a Berks County park was found to be under the influence of drugs, police said. Officers responded to the entrance of the Goose Run Park, off Colebrookdale Road, on reports of a man lying face down in the grass around 3:30 p.m. on May 17, Douglass Township police said. The man was acting irrational and would go in and out of consciousness, and was found to be under the influence of drugs of synthetic drugs, police said. The officer escorted EMS who transported the male to the hospital for treatment. The incident remains under investigation.

Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man who was caught on surveillance footage using a stolen credit card. The man, pictured above, used the stolen card at Rite Aid in 7th Street in Allentown around 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 26, Bethlehem Township police said. A man was beaten and robbed at gunpoint outside of an apartment building in Bucks County Thursday night, authorities said. The man was robbed by two men between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. in front of building 27 of the Village of Pennbrook Apartments in Levittown, Falls Township police, said. The man was also struck in the head numerous times by the assailants who police say were armed with a black and silver handgun. A Bucks County police department is sending a loud and clear message to a man accused of stealing merchandise then leaving it in the parking lot: "Be a better thief." The suspect stole then abandoned $285 worth of merchandise in the parking lot of a local Giant supermarket around 11:30 a.m on Dec. 30, Lower Southampton Township Police Department said.
