New details have been released by Maryland State Police investigators after two people were killed in a crash involving a pick-up and mobile crane that shut down I-83 on Wednesday in Baltimore County. An 18-year-old girl has been hospitalized after being struck in a crosswalk in Gettysburg, police announced on Friday. The Gettysburg College Student was crossing Washington Street at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue around 11 a.m. on Aug. 25. Driver Airlifted From Crash Scene On I-476 In Plymouth Township
A driver was airlifted from the scene of a crash on 1-476 in Plymouth Township Tuesday afternoon, authorities said. Crews responding to mile marker 17.5 southbound on I-476 around 4:25 p.m. were told a driver was trapped after they drove into and over the guardrail, landing down a slight ditch in the center median, according to Plymouth Fire Company Crews worked in temperatures in excess of 100 degrees, to remove the full side wall on the driver's side, both passenger side doors, and the roof, authorities said.
