A man has died two days after the riding lawn mower he was operating went over a retaining wall while he was cutting grass at a property in Pennsylvania, authorities announced Friday, July 24.
Jeffrey Brobst, 69, of the 1300 block of Hawk Mountain Road in Albany Township, was mowing grass at a property in the 100 block of Hecktown Road, Maidencreek Township, when the crash happened at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, Berks County Coroner Matthew J. Stitzel said.

Foodborne Illness Outbreak Expands To 4 States, Including PA, As Hospitalizations Climb
A sprawling foodborne illness investigation has taken another troubling turn as the case count continues to climb.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday, July 24, that a Cyclospora outbreak linked to iceberg lettuce had expanded from five states to nine.
At least 1,947 illnesses and 98 hospitalizations have been reported. No deaths have been recorded.
Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania were added to Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia.
