Passenger Ejected, Seriously Injured In Berks County Crash On I-78 (Updated) Authorities have released additional details in the Interstate 78 crash that shut down a large stretch of the highway on Monday, July 1.  The multi-vehicle wreck happened near mile marker 31 in Hamburg, state police said in a release.  A tractor-trailer was headed west in a work zone when it hit the center concrete barrier, troopers said. Photos show flames shooting through the roof of the Fastenal Fulfillment Center on Industrial Drive around 5:45 a.m. Two alarms were reached, and a portion of Route 100 was closed as firefighters worked to knock down the fire.

Update: Gunman Among 2 Dead In Lehigh Valley Shooting Spree A gunman committed suicide after going on a shooting spree that killed a truck driver in Lehigh Valley Wednesday morning, authorities said. The gunman -- the driver of a white Toyota Corolla -- first opened fire at a vehicle driven by a woman on Route 22 near Cedar Crest Boulevard sometime around 4:50 a.m. in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County District Attorney James B.
