Route 22 Crash Sends Motorcyclist To Hospital: PSP
A 28-year-old was badly injured Monday morning, June 24 when his motorcycle crashed in South Whitehall, according to police. State troopers said it happened around 12:45 a.m. on Route 22. A 2008 Suzuki motorcycle collided with a 2020 Toyota Camry in the westbound lanes near mile marker 319.6, authorities said. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest with "serious injuries," according to state police. The driver and three passengers in the Camry were not hurt. Suspect Punched Victim In Face, Fled The Scene In Allentown: Police
State troopers are looking for a suspect in an Allentown assault. Authorities said the pictured man walked by the victim, punched him one time in the face, and walked away. It happened near the Sherwin Williams at 1900 Catasauqua Road on April 27, state police said. The suspect was wearing black pants and a green sweatshirt with white lettering on the front and back. CASE: Bucks County Killer Still Sought After 56 Years
More than 50 years after she was beaten to death, Alice Swope's killer eludes police. The 82-year-old was found beaten to death in her Dark Hollow Road home in Pipersville on Jan. 25, 1968, according to state troopers. She was discovered by a Bell Telephone repairman who had come to check the line and a neighbor who let him in, the Allentown Morning Call reported in a 1974 retrospective. Pennsylvania State Police are on the hunt for a suspect who they say opened fire at a vehicle during an apparent road rage incident Wednesday, Feb. 16 in Upper Saucon Township. On I-78 near mile marker 61.2, the unidentified driver of a Dodge Charger was traveling eastbound in the right lane of the highway behind the 75-year-old victim's Chevrolet Tahoe, PSP said. State Police Seek Pickup Truck Driver Who Caused Rt. 22 Crash That Injured Woman, 2 Children
State Police are seeking the driver of a red pickup truck that injured two children and an adult in an early morning hit-and-run on Route 22. The driver of an older model red Chevrolet Silverado cut off a Subaru Forrester on Rt. 22 westbound at Rt. 512 in Hanover Township around 6:30 a.m. Thursday, PA State Trooper Nathan Branosky told Daily Voice.
