90-Year-Old Man Struck By Vehicle In Eastern PA: Police
A 90-year-old man was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning, Dec. 19, in Plymouth Meeting, according to police. The incident occurred around 5:51 a.m. on Germantown Pike, west of Walton Road, Plymouth Township Police said. Officers and EMS arrived to find the man in the eastbound lanes. He was transported to Jefferson Abington Hospital by Plymouth Community Ambulance Association and is listed in critical but stable condition, authorities said. The ambush killing of William Carter in Norristown on Jan. 20 was orchestrated in part by his own girlfriend, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. Katherine Emel, 29, of Plymouth Meeting, is charged with second-degree murder, robbery, and conspiracy, prosecutors said. A 48-year-old man is facing charges several weeks after a 7-year-old girl fell to her death from the bed of his pickup truck in Montgomery County, authorities said. Victim Dies From Wound Years After Allentown Shooting: Coroner
The victim in a 2021 Allentown shooting died from his wounds this week in what the Lehigh County Coroner's Office has ruled as a homicide. Roniel O. Santos-Rivera of Plymouth Meeting was shot in the head on the 1200 block of West Linden Street on Aug. 21, 2021, authorities said. On Thursday, July 27, he died of complications from that wound at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, according to Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. He was 29. A sinkhole shut down Chemical Road in Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County Friday afternoon, NBC Philadelphia reports.
