Traffic Stop Leads To Struggle With Armed Suspect In Chesco: Police A Coatesville man is in police custody after authorities say he resisted arrest at a traffic stop.  It happened in New Garden Township on March 1, said the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department in a statement. Officers were patrolling near Gap Newport Pike and Newark Road when they saw a dark-colored Kia driving erratically, authorities wrote.  The car was traveling "at a high rate of speed" when, at Newark Road's intersection with Baltimore Pike, the vehicle "went airborne," police said. Police: DUI Man Tries Leaving Scene Of Chester County Crash With Child A 31-year-old Toughkenamon man was under the influence when he crashed his car and then tried walking away from the scene with a child who had been riding in the car, authorities said. Felipe Sica-Cuyuch was charged with DUI, endangering the welfare of children and related traffic offenses, according to the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department.
