Man Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Northern Westchester Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash in Northern Westchester. It happened at approximately 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, on Crompond Road and Lafayette Avenue in the town of Cortlandt. When police arrrived, Peekskill Emergency Medical Services was already on scene rendering aid to the pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle and transported to Hudson Valley Hospital, state police said.  The man later identified as Edwin G. The unidentified 61-year-old was killed around 9 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 14, on Farm Walk Road in Yorktown, police said. When officers and EMS arrived on the scene, they found the man in the backyard of the resident, unconscious not breathing after the tree fell on top of him, according to the Yorktown Police. Northern Westchester Woman Charged With Committing Sex Act On A Child A 55-year-old Northern Westchester woman is behind bars after state police say she committed a sexual act on a child. Troopers responded to Hudson Valley Hospital for a report of a criminal sex act on Friday, July 20. Investigators determined Patricia A. Dolan of Cortlandt committed the act on a victim under the age of 13, according to state police. On Saturday, July 21, State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Dolan. She was charged with Criminal Sex Act in the first degree, a Class B felony. Dolan was arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court, and remanded to the Westchester …
