New photos were released of the two on the run -- a man and woman, both in their 20s -- wanted for kidnapping and attempted murder in Tennessee early last week before fleeing to the Hudson Valley where the home invasion occurred near the Orange/Sullivan county border before dawn on Saturday.
The fugitives, 24-year-old Jarret Cole "Shroom" Heitmann and 22-year-old Makayla Danielle Stilwell, are armed and extremely dangerous, according to police.
Heitmann is described as being 6-foot-1, 165 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Stilwell is 5-foot-9, 145 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.
Following the home invasion, there was what state police describe as a "verified sighting" of Heitmann and Stilwell at a Walmart in Matamoras, Pa., on Saturday at 7:30 a.m., several hours after the Hudson Valley home invasion.
Matamoras is located about 30 miles from where the home invasion occurred in the Hudson Valley. Matamoras is located at the point in the Delaware Water Gap where the borders of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania join.
Police in the Town of Crawford in Orange County said Wednesday the Walmart sighting was the "last confirmed sighting" of the two.
The two bought outdoor gear and supplies at the store, according to Eastern Pike Regional Police Department Chief Chad Stewart, according to the Middletown Times Herald-Record.
Stewart told the Times Herald-Record that the "last direction we had is that they were heading back to New York.”

Crawford Police said Wednesday "there have been some incredible rumors," regarding the whereabouts of the two. "If they were true, they would be quickly reported," they added.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call state police at 845-344-5300 or 911.
