4-Year-Old Taken For Wild Ride In Albany Police Chase As Father Flees: Cops
A Capital Region man led cops on a car chase with his 4-year-old child in the vehicle, police said.
Jeron Melton, 29, of Albany, was driving near Second Street and Oak Street when he committed multiple violations and police tried to pull him over around 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, the Albany Police Department said.
Instead, Melton sped up, fled the scene, and committed more traffic violations, cops said. He was eventually stopped near Livingston Avenue and Lark Street, authorities said.

Power Drill, Metal Bar Used By Woman In Violent Capital Region Attack: Sheriff
A power drill and metal bar were used to injure someone during a violent late-night attack in the Capital Region, authorities said.
Deputies were called to a disturbance on Fellows Road in the Saratoga County town of Halfmoon at 10:10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office announced on Sunday, Sept. 6.
The investigation led to the arrest of Jennifer E. Garland, 36, of Halfmoon.
Garland intentionally struck the victim with a metal bar and power drill, causing pain and cuts to their shoulder, calf, and shin, according to the sheriff’s office.

Andy Williams, the guitarist for the band "Every Time I Die" who became a professional wrestler known as "The Butcher," has died after collapsing at the end of a match in Pennsylvania, industry organizations confirm. He was 48 years old.
Williams collapsed Saturday evening, Sept. 5, during a show at Mr. Smalls Theatre in Millvale, located outside of Pittsburgh, according to the promoter, Enjoy Wrestling.
