NY Mom Arrested For Murder In 10-Year-Old Daughter’s Death: Police
A New York mom has been arrested in the killing of her 10-year-old daughter, police announced Friday, Sept. 25.
Angelica Sullivan, 30, of Ellenville, was charged with killing Kathleen Elizabeth Pulido on Aug. 18, 2025, New York State Police said.
State troopers did not reveal additional details about the case. Kathleen’s death was initially reported as a medical emergency.
The Ellenville Police Department arrived at a home on Park Street for reports of an unresponsive 10-year-old girl, who was rushed to Ellenville Regional Hospital and pronounced dead, authorities said.

A Pennsylvania man who survived being shot twice during the 2024 assassination attempt on President Donald Trump has died two years after the attack.
James “Jim” Copenhaver, 76, of Moon Township, Allegheny County, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, according to the Republican Committee of Allegheny County. His death was announced publicly Thursday, Sept. 24, by U.S. House Republicans. A cause of death has not been released.

A New York woman has been charged with murder for killing her husband, police said.
Christine S. Clark, 43, of Hartford, attacked her spouse, James M. Clark, on Wednesday morning, Sept. 23, New York State Police said.
Investigators said Christine Clark attacked James Clark, also 43, with a box cutter to slice his body and slammed his head with a coffee mug, according to ABC affiliate WTEN.

An hours-long manhunt for a suspect armed with two long guns ended in his arrest Wednesday, Sept. 23 in the Capital Region, state police said.
James F. Cooper IV, 39, was booked on several charges after the incident locked down a local middle school and left residents on edge, New York State Police said.
