2,600 Layoffs Expected At NJ Hospital Chain Nearly 2,600 people employed by a North Jersey hospital chain are expected to be laid off by the end of the year, according to a newly-filed WARN notice. This month, Carepoint Health filed notices with New Jersey's labor department indicating layoffs would begin on Dec. 12 at healthcare centers in Bayonne, Jersey City, and Hoboken. Pre-Teen Sexually Assaulted By Cliffside Park Man, Prosecutor Says A 49-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting a juvenile in Cliffside Park, authorities said.
