A New York father of two has died following a devastating crash while walking through Central Park on his way to work, according to police and the man's loved ones.
Richard "Richie" O’Brien, of Port Jefferson Station, suffered a traumatic brain injury in the collision Wednesday, Sept. 23 and died Sunday, Sept. 27, according to a GoFundMe campaign launched for his family.

The crash happened on Route 202 near Wilder Road in Wesley Hills at around 10:35 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, according to Ramapo Police.

Prosecutors are reopening a criminal investigation into members of a Cornell University fraternity accused of a gang rape, according to reports.

A New York mom has been arrested in the killing of her 10-year-old daughter, police announced Friday, Sept. 25.
