24-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man Admits Killing Victim Of Home Burglary, DA Says
A 24-year-old Hudson Valley man faces 25 in prison after admitting he killed a victim involved in a home burglary, according to authorities.
Ulster County resident Jacob Jackson, age 24, of Rosendale, pleaded guilty to manslaughter on Tuesday, Nov. 14, for the shooting death of Myron Moye, age 36, of Kingston, said Ulster County District Attorney David Clegg.
On Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, three men wearing masks and gloves broke into Moye's home, tied up occupants, and then stabbed, shot, and killed the victim and fled, Clegg said.

Man Indicted For Murder Of Popular Musician In Hudson Valley
An Ulster County grand jury has indicted an area man for the shooting death of a popular musician and tattoo artist.
Orange County resident, Walter Post Jr., age 26, of Pine Bush, was indicted for the second-degree murder of 29-year-old Michael Hankins of Woodridge, said Ulster County District Attorney David Clegg.
According to District Attorney's Office, it's alleged that in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Jan. 11, Post stalked his ex-girlfriend and her home.

Grand Jury Indicts Two Men For Murder Of 12-Year-Old Girl
Two men have been indicted on murder charges in connection with the Thursday, Dec. 17 death of a 12-year-old girl.
Gilbert Thomas, 24, and Robert “Nikki” James, 46, both of Kingston, were indicted by an Ulster County Grand Jury.
The indictment was handed up Wednesday, Dec. 30, said the Ulster County District Attorney David Clegg.
Both Thomas and James are accused of the murder of D'Janeira Mason, who was killed inside her home at 60 Van Buren St. around 8 p.m. when shots were fired into the house, the DA's Office said.

Seven Democrats have entered the June 26 primary race to challenge U.S. Rep. John Faso in the fall election.
Democrats in the race include Antonio Delgado, 41, of Rhinebeck in Dutchess County; Brian Flynn, 50, of Hunter in Greene County; and the only female candidate: Erin Collier, 34, of Cooperstown in Otsego County.
