GARFIELD, N.J. -- Louis Macaluso, of Garfield, died on Jan. 15. He was 82. Born in Passaic, he lived in Garfield, Paterson, Franklin Lakes, and Ringwood before moving to Toms River 19 years ago. He was an electroplater for over 40 years working at several metal plating companies in Northern NJ before retiring in 1999. He was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, a member of the Holiday Heights First Aid Squad and Bocce Club all in Toms River, he was an avid bingo player, and a member of the NRA. EMERSON, N.J. -- Antoinette Rose Buccafusco Dinardo, of Emerson, died on Jan. 16. She was 90. She was born on May 16, 1926 to the late Gerlando and Josephine Buccafusco. She attended the Jersey City Public Schools and graduated from Dickinson High School in 1943. She waited patiently for her future husband, the John B. Dinardo, to return home from war before they could wed on Nov. 23, 1946, a marriage that would ultimately last 65 years.
