Residents Warned After Burglary In Wappingers Falls

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Wappingers Falls police are advising area residents of an attempted residential burglary that reportedly occurred in the area of Park Street and North Mesier in the Village of Wappingers.

Forced entry was attempted by an unknown person from the rear back sliding door of the residence, according to officials.

Residents throughout the Village are reminded to lock their doors and to set their home security alarms, if equipped.

Those who see any suspicious activity are asked to call 845-297-1011, or to dial 911.
