Man Charged With Endangering Welfare Of Child In Dutchess

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A 30-year-old man is behind bars after state police charged him with endangering the welfare of a child in Dutchess.

This arrest occurred after troopers were advised of an incident that occurred in a home in the Town of North East. The investigation determined that George T. Miles III had acted in a manner injurious to the well-being of a child, police said.

Police arrested Miles Iof Copake, NY, earlier this month and charged him with endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor.

Miles was located by State Police in New Lebanon, NY. He was arraigned in the Town of Amenia Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 property bond.
